LEDGID Featured in SplashTech Digital Market Report 2026

We are pleased to see LEDGID featured across the latest SplashTech Digital Market Report, contributing to the conversation around digital standards, technology ROI and the skills required of the future seafarer. From advocating for interoperable professional identity, credentials and verification records, to recognising the value of reduced administration and the growing importance of digital governance at sea, the discussion touches directly on several of the principles behind LEDGID. As maritime digitalisation accelerates, interoperability is becoming increasingly important: trusted professional information should be able to move with the individual, rather than being repeatedly collected and reconstructed. Thank you to Splash for including LEDGID in the conversation. Read the full report: https://issuu.com/sinoship/docs/splashtech_digital_market_report_2026

The initiative will focus on healthcare interoperability, medical profile portability and technical integration within the maritime ecosystem, while maintaining clear safeguards around privacy, consent and data ownership, and exploring how Sea Bird Medicare Centre's medical and welfare-related services can connect with the seafarer-controlled LEDGID profile.

MARIN SHIP MANAGEMENT and LEDGID JOIN FORCES.

LEDGID is pleased to welcome Marin Ship Management as a specialist partner supporting the continued development of its crewing and compliance capability. Marin will provide subject-matter expertise across STCW, crewing and professional-development requirements, helping LEDGID translate existing regulatory and industry standards into practical compliance logic within the platform. This collaboration will strengthen the LEDGID Compliance module by giving Seafarers clearer visibility of their qualifications, potential gaps and future development requirements, while providing Managers with a more structured view of crew compliance, progression and planning. The partnership reflects LEDGID’s commitment to developing the platform together with experienced industry specialists for the benefit of subscribers and the wider maritime community.
